Terms of Use for the “勇氣守護者” (Courage Guardian) App

Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before using the “勇氣守護者” (Courage Guardian) mobile application (“App”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Description of the App
The App is a free, non-commercial wellness application that allows users to select guardian characters and receive encouraging blessings. The App also provides a feature for users to submit their own blessings for consideration.
3. Free Use and Advertising
The App is free to download and use. The App is supported by banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob. The App does not offer in-app purchases or subscription services.
4. User-Submitted Content
4.1 Submission
Users may voluntarily submit blessings through the in-app “投稿一句話” (Submit a Blessing) feature. Submissions are optional and not required to use the App.
4.2 Content Guidelines
By submitting content, you agree that your submission:
- Is your original work, or you have the right to share it
- Does not contain offensive, hateful, violent, or inappropriate content
- Does not contain personal information of third parties
- Does not infringe on any intellectual property rights of others
4.3 License
By submitting content, you grant Narrovosoft UG a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, modify, and display the submitted content within the App. You will be credited by the nickname you provide (or as “匿名” / anonymous if no nickname is given).
4.4 Moderation
We reserve the right to review, edit, or decline any user-submitted content at our sole discretion. Inclusion in the App is not guaranteed.
5. Intellectual Property
All content in the App — including but not limited to character designs, pixel art, animations, sound effects, blessing texts (except user-submitted content), and user interface design — is the property of Narrovosoft UG and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on the App’s content without prior written consent from Narrovosoft UG.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices in the App
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the App
- Use automated systems or scripts to interact with the App
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Narrovosoft UG makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the App’s availability, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
The blessings and encouraging messages in the App are intended for general wellness purposes only. They do not constitute professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Narrovosoft UG shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
This limitation does not apply to damages arising from intentional misconduct or gross negligence, nor does it affect your statutory rights under mandatory consumer protection laws (especially as applicable under German and EU law).
9. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. If you are a consumer within the EU, you also enjoy the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
